About The Department

The department, established in 2001, offers a BE in Computer Science & Engineering and previously offered an MTech program (2011–2021). Its dedicated and experienced faculty are actively involved in teaching, research, and product development, with numerous publications in reputed international journals and conferences (IEEE/ACM/Springer). The department regularly organizes training programs for faculty, technical staff, and students, and participates in staff development programs to stay updated with technological advancements. Emphasizing students’ all-round development, the department conducts industry interactions, expert sessions, soft skills and technical training, and self-learning initiatives (Spoken Tutorials by IIT Bombay). Campus placements continue to grow with multinational recruiters. Extracurricular activities are promoted through the students’ association and NSS, and the department publishes an annual technical magazine and newsletter to showcase innovative ideas and current trends in computing SWO department.
